In Bali, traditional life is preserved until today. Offerings are presented daily; it is made by flowers and has the meaning of being grateful to be alive. Rites are the volunteerly prepared by the community on their own circumstance that is known as ‘place’ or Desa, ‘time’ or Kala, and ‘pattern/situation/condition’ or Patra. Those are correlated with the autonomous system of precision that is counted by using many references. Hence, the Gregorian calendar is not the only reference for Balinese ritual life, however, they still using their old calendar. Balinese calendar is a combination of lunisolar and astral in a very complicated way. Somehow, every ceremony or celebration that is being held in Bali is always regarding to this calendar. Therefore, long before the preparation of cermony, people should come to Geriya to ask about selected dates are given by the priest. Geriya is a house of noble Balinese priest that is honored by the people in their social and spiritual life, due to his devotion in mediating and interpreting the two dimensions of ‘what is seen’ or Sekala and ‘what is not seen’ or Niskala.

A blessing is considered as a wish to be blessed. In Bali, the proper way should be done before the wish is to present the offerings. Therefore, offerings should be presented on this activity. Balinese fortune reading and blessing ritual are deep experiences to understand more about the culture, while seeing yourself in a reflection.
